About Us
Rainbow Respite was founded by Caroline Stuart in 2021 after her experience with serious illness and a passion in helping others live a more accomplished life.
We offer a very comfortable home-like STA experience coupled with an encouraging human-centred approach on disability support services from all our staff. Our stays aren’t limited to the NDIS participants, and we always welcome their families. We believe that by providing a warm, secure and inviting environment for all our clients with disability, it inspires development in their skills and nurtures independence while minimising disruption in normal routines.
Located right in the heart of Beachmere, we are just 1 hour drive from both the Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast, while being near a variety of green spaces, activities, and a short distance to local cafes with magnificent Moreton Bay ocean views. Art Classes
Rainbow Respite offers various art classes including different types of painting, sketching and drawing allowing clients to express themself creatively and learn new skills or develop existing skills.
Strawberry Picking
Rainbow Respite takes clients to local strawberry farms to experience both the great outdoors and the joys of bringing home your own hand picked baskets of strawberries! This activity is seasonal.
Local Day Trips & Attractions
Beachmere is surrounded by some wonderful places and attractions including Australia Zoo and Bribie Island Butterfly House, which we love to make a day trip of for our clients (and staff!) enjoyment.

Independent NDIS Provider
The NDIS may cover the cost for support and Short Term Accommodation away from your regular home routine for up to 28 days per year. See our Frequently Asked Questions, or speak to your support coordinator or planner to discuss having STA included in your current plan.
